Everyone has a favorite teacher from childhood, that special person who encouraged and motivated you to do your best. As a Middle Childhood Education student, you'll specialize in two areas-social studies, math, science or reading—while developing the skills needed to teach older children in grades 4-9. And, because Xavier uses a holistic approach emphasizing care for the whole person, you could become that special teacher for someone you have yet to meet.
