Welcome to the Education Abroad Office in the Center for International Education. We are located in Gallagher Student Center, room 230.
The Education Abroad Office works to broaden horizons and develop global perspectives of students through academic studies, research, internships, and other experiences. Collaborating with international education partners and faculty members, we offer a wide variety of education abroad and away opportunities to meet the diverse academic and personal needs of students. From recruitment and advising to facilitating the processes of application through credit attribution to supporting re-entry, we guide students along every step of their journey.
Education Abroad Announcements
- Study abroad via our new signature semester abroad Xavier University in Peru, which features core courses, housing and an excursion to Machu Picchu - Apply by September 1, 2026 for Spring 2027!
- Study Abroad Fair is Friday, September 18 from 1-4pm on the Academic Mall.
- Apply for or renew your US passport as soon as possible if you’re thinking of studying abroad in 2027. The US State Department is no longer experiencing significant delays -- expedited passports are taking 2-3 weeks and regular service is 6-8 weeks. Generally your passport expiration date should be valid for 6 months after your departure date back to the USA.
