Hearst Scholarship

The William Randolph Hearst Endowed Scholarship Fund provides scholarships to students from the Evanston, Avondale, and Norwood neighborhoods.

Benjamin D. Urmston Family Peace Studies Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to an incoming freshman who has demonstrated academic excellence and the integration of the ideas and values of peace and justice activities with activities outside of the classroom. A separate application is required for the Peace Studies Scholarship.

The Anthony Munoz Foundation Scholarship Fund provides scholarships to students from the Tri-State region who are entering an accredited Tri-State college or university.

FIRST Scholarship

In support of the FIRST mission, Xavier University is offering two merit-based scholarships, each for $2,500, to high school seniors who have participated on a FIRST team during their junior or senior year in high school. This scholarship may be utilized for any undergraduate course of study at Xavier University. The scholarship is renewable for up to a total of $10,000 over four years, contingent upon maintaining good academic standing. Each recipient must meet the regular academic requirements for admission to the University.

David Joyce Scholarship

In the summer of 2020, GE Aviation President and CEO David Joyce announced his retirement. While Joyce’s 12-year tenure as President and CEO is known for leadership and innovation, his contribution to military affiliated students at Xavier University will live on forever. To honor Joyce’s vision, an annual scholarship was created in his name. Learn more about the origin of the David Joyce Scholarship. Xavier University along with Mr. and Mrs. Joyce are offering 24 scholarships of $2,000 per semester for any full-time enrolled GE employee or GE dependent with preference for Veteran or military affiliated status. Scholarship funds are limited to tuition and fees.
