Scholarships and Financial Aid

A college education is the best investment you can make. As a Xavier student, you are not just investing in your four years of education, you are investing in a lifetime of continuous learning. You also become a life-long member of a community of learners, teachers, givers and supporters.

To make this investment possible, Xavier offers many different types of financial assistance, including scholarships, grants, student employment and loans. Payment plans are also available to help families manage their payments throughout the school year.

All students who apply for admission to Xavier are considered for merit scholarships. However, there are opportunities for additional scholarships available, based on major, involvement in community service, commitment to diversity, artistic talent and more.

Financial Aid

In addition to scholarship opportunities at Xavier, many of our students also take advantage of Federal Financial Aid that is available to them. In fact, over 60% of our students are on some type of need based financial aid.

Tuition and Fees

So, how much does a Xavier education cost? Annual tuition for full-time undergraduates in 2017-2018 is $37,000.  For full-time undergraduate business majors, annual tuition in 2017-2018 is $38,000. On-campus living expenses (room and board, double occupancy) are about $12,150 per year.
