With our Transfer Merit Scholarship, you could be awarded up to $29,000 to invest in your education and become a lifelong member of our supportive community.
Scholarships for Transfer Students
Transfer Merit Scholarships: Up to $29,000
All full-time transfer students who apply to Xavier are automatically considered for a renewable merit scholarship.
- Who's Eligible?: All full-time transfer applicants.
- Award Amount: Up to $29,000, renewable annually.
- How to Apply: No separate application is needed. You are automatically considered for this scholarship when you apply for transfer admission.
Note: Students applying for part-time admission are not eligible for merit-based scholarships. Students applying for the Accelerated Degree Completion program should contact APEX for details on tuition and scholarship amounts.
Phi Theta Kappa Scholarships: $1,500 for PTK Members
If you are a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, you are eligible for an additional scholarship from Xavier.
- Who's Eligible?: Full-time transfer students who are current Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society members.
- Award Amount: $1,500, renewable annually.
- Action Needed: Please indicate on your application that you are a PTK member and submit proof of membership as part of your application.
Tri-State Community College Scholarship: Up to $29,000
If you have recently completed an associate degree at a Tri-State community college, you are eligible for the Tri-State Community College Scholarship.
- Who's Eligible?: Full-time transfer students who have completed/are completing an associate degree post-high school at a community college in Ohio, Kentucky, or Indiana during the 2024, 2025, or 2026 academic years.
- Award Amount: First-year tuition at Xavier will cost $10,000. Subsequent years at Xavier will be billed at the annual tuition rate minus the transfer scholarship of at least $29,000 per year.
- How to Apply: No separate application is needed. You are automatically considered for this scholarship when you apply for transfer admission.
