PTK Direct Admission at Xavier University

As a member of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK), you’ve already shown a commitment to academic excellence. Xavier University is proud to recognize that achievement through Direct Admission for PTK members transferring from any U.S. community college.
PTK Direct Admission is open to any community college student or graduate who’s ready to take the next step toward a Xavier bachelor’s degree—making it easier to continue your education while saving time, effort, and money.

Who’s Eligible
To qualify for PTK Direct Admission, you must:
- Be an active Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society member
- Be currently enrolled at or recently graduated from a regionally accredited community college
- Plan to transfer to Xavier University as a degree-seeking student
⚠️ Note: Students who are currently dual-enrolled in high school and a community college are not eligible for PTK Direct Admission and should apply to Xavier using the First-Year Application instead.
How to Apply
- Complete Xavier’s Transfer Application. Select the Transfer Student application option.
- Indicate your PTK membership on the application.
- Submit your official transcripts from all colleges attended.
- That’s it! You’ll automatically be considered for Direct Admission and the PTK Scholarship.
