Transfer Admission

Tri-State Community College Scholars

This program is open to students completing an Associate Degree post-high school at a community college in Ohio, Kentucky, or Indiana during the 2024 and 2025 academic years.

What's Included

  • First-year tuition at Xavier will cost $10,000 (full-time enrollment required).
  • Subsequent years at Xavier will be billed at the annual tuition rate minus the transfer scholarship of at least $29,000 per year. ($14,500 per semester, up to 8 semesters).
  • Room and board are optional. If you elect to live on campus, there will be additional costs for room and board. Single and double rooms are available with semi-private bathrooms.
  • Guaranteed transfer credit for any course within Ohio’s Transfer 36 in which a grade of C or higher was earned. 

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must have earned an Associate Degree in the 2024 or 2025 academic year from any community college in Ohio, Kentucky, or Indiana after high school graduation (students who earned their associate degree while in high school are not eligible for this program).
  • Final community college GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Must enroll full-time at Xavier University (12 or more credit hours per semester). Students enrolled in the Accelerated Degree Completion program are NOT eligible. 
  • FAFSA completion is encouraged, but not required.
  • Students eligible for this program will not be eligible for additional scholarships, such as the PTK Scholarship.
