Master's Project
Full-time students are required to complete a master's project during the residency period; part-time students are required to complete a master's thesis. The project usually reflects an aspect of health care management of interest to both the student and preceptor, with final approval from the faculty advisor. Various options exist for the master's project:
- A series of applied management studies
- An integrative management project
- A thesis that tests a specific research hypothesis
- Case studies that analyze policy formulation or program implementation processes
- A series of competency-based projects
