Your application to the Xavier University MHSA program is carefully reviewed by our admissions committee. We consider each student's application on a case-by-case basis with personal attention given to all your application materials.

Our FREE application is through Xavier, not an expensive third party. Instructions for document uploads, references, and transcripts are in the application. Applications may close at any time once programs fill, and late applicants may be placed on a waitlist or deferred to the next available start term. Apply early!

Xavier's application is internal, with all materials being sent to Xavier through our FREE ONLINE APPLICATION. To create an equitable application process, we do not use expensive third-party application services.
Applications may close once all seats are filled and deadlines are subject to change at any time. Apply early!
RESIDENTIAL MHSA & MHSA/MBA Dual Degree* (Full time, on campus) - Admits Fall
All admitted FULL-TIME MHSA students will receive at least $8,000 in MHSA departmental funding for their first year of study (2025-26 year). APPLY EARLY!
The Fall 2025 application is currently open and will close once all seats fill. Should the application close early, all in-progress applicants will be given a two-week notice to complete their applications. All documents must received by the end of the two-week notice.
*MHSA/MBA Dual Degree applicants should first complete the MHSA application. Once processed, complete the MBA application. Both applications are free of charge and available in the Xavier University graduate application.
EXECUTIVE MHSA (Part time, online) - Admits Fall
Fall 2025 Executive MHSA Deadlines
- August 1, 2025: All application materials must be received
- August 8, 2025: Interview must be completed
HEALTHCARE ADMINISTRATION GRADUATE CERTIFICATES - Admits Fall
Two Healthcare Administration Graduate Certificates are currently available. Both certificates are four online courses and can serve as pathways into the Executive MHSA program. Students who transition into the EMHSA program will receive credit for all four courses and will be eligible for the Loyal Musketeer Scholarship, a 25% tuition reduction:
- Healthcare Quality & Process Improvement Graduate Certificate
- Health Services Administration Certificate
Seats in the Certificate programs are limited. The applications will close once all seats are filled and will close no later than July 1, 2025.

CONFIRMATION DEADLINES
Students must confirm their acceptance within two weeks of the release of their acceptance.
Scholarships and Financial Aid
Guild Tuition & Fee Reimbursement
Guild is a third party who contracts with specific employers, such as Cincinnati Children's Hospital, to administer tuition benefit reimbursement. Applicants whose employers work with Guild for employee tuition benefits: Visit the Guild FAQs page for help, as well as your employer's HR and/or benefits departments.
