Osteopathic Medicine, D.O. Decision and Deposit Timelines
- Our rolling admissions process allows us to review applications as they are received and make decisions throughout the Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine program admissions cycle.
- We encourage students to submit applications as soon as possible.
- Review of applications will begin within two weeks of secondary application submission
- Admissions decisions will be made within 3-4 weeks after completion of an in-person interview.
Admission Decision Timeline
- May 2026: AACOMAs application Opens
- July 2026: Secondary applications sent to qualified applicants
- September 2026- April 2027: Interviews conducted with selected applicants
- May 2027: Final decisions (candidates can only hold one seat)
- July 2027: Orientation week
Deposit Timeline
XUCOM follows the AACOMAS Traffic Guidelines as stated below.
- A deposit of $1500 is required to secure your seat.
- Those accepted prior to November 15 will have until December 14.
- Those accepted between November 15 and January 14 will have 30 days.
- Those accepted between January 15 and April 30 will have 14 days.
- Those accepted on or after May 1 may be asked for an immediate deposit.
