D.O. Admission Requirements at a Glance

Your journey to becoming a D.O. starts with these essential steps.

Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Admission

A bachelor’s degree is required for all applicants.
Competitive applicants will have a GPA of 3.5 or above.
Two letters of recommendation are required.
MCAT scores are valid for three years prior to enrollment.
Coursework must be completed (min. 2.0 GPA) prior to your start date.
Submit your application via the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine Application Service (AACOMAS) portal. Applications open soon.

Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Curriculum

Years 1 + 2

Foundational biomedical sciences integrated with clinical skills and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM).

Years 3 + 4

Clinical rotations, including core clerkships in Internal Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, OB/GYN, Psychiatry, and Family Medicine followed by elective sub-internships.
