M.A. in Biomedical Sciences Admission
Admission Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
- Minimum GPA of 2.75 or higher ( ≥ 3.2 recommended)
- Prerequisite Requirements
- 2 Biology courses with a lab (8 credits)
- Organic Chemistry 1 and 2 with labs (8 credits)
- General Chemistry with a lab (8 credits)
- Physics 1 and 2 and labs if available (6-8 credits)
- English (6 credits)
- Recommended: Biochemistry (3 credits)
Application Materials
- Completed application through PostbacCAS
- All official transcripts from undergraduate and graduate institutions
- Resume or CV with clinical experience and other relevant experiences
- Optional MCAT, DAT, or GRE Score
- Required 2 letters of recommendation
- We recommend submitting letters from advisors, faculty, pre-health committee or professional references
- Completed prerequisite coursework prior to matriculation
- Competitive candidate will have at least:
- At least a 3.0 cumulative GPA
- Clinical experience with hands-on patient care
- Extracurricular and Volunteer experiences
