Professional Development (PD)

The Xavier Center for Excellence in Education (XCEED) supports schools in the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky region (and beyond!) by working with Xavier faculty—experts in their fields—to offer professional development opportunities to teachers, paraprofessionals, and administrators. Whether through synchronous online seminars, multi-day training tailored to your school's needs, or year-long cohort programs, XCEED endeavors to empower educators and meet the unique needs of schools in our region.

X-Vaping Program

To support schools, Xavier's Center for Population Health (CPH) developed X-Vaping, a tier-2 intervention program for middle- and high-school students caught vaping or in possession of e-cigarettes on school grounds.

Three programs are available:

  • X-Vaping 1 for first-time offenders,
  • X-Vaping 2 for repeat cases, and
  • X-Vaping 2 – Marijuana/THC for students using marijuana-laced products

Learn more about X-Vaping on CPH’s website, view an informational flyer here, or register your school here.
