Marlene Schulte
Associate Director of Facilities
Marlene started her Campus Recreation career as an avid participant during her undergraduate years. As a collegiate golfer she enjoyed the team aspect of intramural sports. After completing her bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, she went on to be a Teaching Assistant at the University of Kentucky. She was an instructor for the lifetime fitness courses of strength training, volleyball, kickboxing, and others. After graduate school, her career began in sports performance before transitioning into recreation programming. Most recently, Marlene was the Assistant Director of Programs at NKU while also teaching adjunct courses for the Physical Health Education department. In January of 2026, Marlene accepted the position of Associate Director here at Xavier University.
