David Wiley

Director of Recreational Sports

David started out his Campus Recreation career as a student employee officiating Intramural Sports at Northern Kentucky University, which turned into a Supervisor position going into his junior year of undergrad. After loving the field of Campus Recreation, David went on to pursue a master’s degree where he served as a Graduate Assistant at Northern Illinois University. After completing his master’s degree, he then started his professional career at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA. After serving there for 3 years, he had the opportunity to come back home and work for his Alma Matter. After working at NKU for 4 years he decided to join the Xavier team and oversee the Club Sport Program. After 3 years here at Xavier, David accepted the Associate Director role here to oversee Facilities. Currently after serving at Xavier for 6 years, David has stepped into the Director of Recreational Sports role.
