Program Costs - 2024 Session 

 June 2-29, 2024: $ 6200-6500 (based on group size)

Program costs include: 

• Tuition for 9 credits 
• All lodging (host family stay in Cali, hotels during excursions) 
• All meals 
• Roundtrip flight to Leticia in Amazon 
• All in-country transportation 
• All in-country activities 

Student is responsible for: 

Round trip airfare to Cali, Colombia 

Financial Aid

All students should meet with their financial aid counselor to consult about funding of study abroad programs. 

Students who submit the FAFSA are able to use their federal direct loans for summer, fall, and spring, although applying loans to the summer reduces the amount available for fall and spring semesters.

Parents of students who submit the FAFSA, can also apply for a Parent PLUS loan that can be used for summer, fall, and spring. 

The Xavier Center for International Education offers links to Xavier scholarships and non-Xavier scholarships, some of which might be applicable to the Colombia summer program.
