Organizations

Students in Spanish participate in a variety of clubs and organizations including those listed below.

Spanish Club

The purpose of Xavier University Spanish Club is to serve as an extension of the classroom for those students who are learning Spanish, as well as for those native speakers who are learning English. Spanish Club's goals and objectives are to promote interest in the Hispanic literature and culture, and to sponsor social and cultural events, speakers, concerts, and films to increase intercultural understanding.

Voices of Solidarity (VOS)

Voices of Solidarity is committed to developing the activists of tomorrow by confronting issues in the immigrant and refugee community of greater Cincinnati community by bringing awareness to the Xavier campus.

Hispanic Organization and LatinX Awareness (HOLA)

The purpose of Hispanic Organization and LatinX Awareness (HOLA) is to build and maintain awareness of Latinx and Hispanic culture, language, traditions, history, and religion in the Xavier community. While also providing a family atmosphere for individuals who identify as part of the LatinX and Hispanic community.
