The Williams College of Business

Grant Application

Deadline: A student must submit an application before the official start of the program to be considered for an award in the next academic year. Please return completed application to: xmba@xavier.edu

In order to be considered for a MBA grant, this application must be completed along with the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). To complete the FAFSA, go to www.fafsa.edu/gov and submit the information online. You will need your tax return to complete the FAFSA. Xavier's federal school code is 003144.

If you are NOT a US citizen or permanent resident, you will need to submit a paper FAFSA to the Xavier Office of Financial Aid. You may obtain one from the Xavier Office of Financial Aid by calling 513-745-3142 or by sending an email to xufinaid@xavier.edu.

EMBA graduate study grants are available for fully admitted EMBA students only who are in good academic standing with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Removal from the EMBA program or receiving a failing grade will result in a loss of the EMBA grant. Provisionally admitted and MBA Plus students are not eligible for grant consideration. The grants are partial tuition awards, which are designed to assist students with financing their graduate study. Grant awards are made based upon financial need, merit, and the availability of funds. Therefore, grants may or may not mirror previous grants received. If awarded, the total EMBA grant will be distributed equally into four semester allotments. It is not renewable or transferable.

YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR AN EMBA GRADUATE STUDY GRANT IF YOU:

  • Receive full employer tuition reimbursement
  • Are a Xavier employee or employee's dependent
  • Receive any other Xavier grant or tuition discount
