In-Person Student Employment Job Fair

Find a Job. Build Your Skills. Make Connections.

Student employment is a great way to earn money, gain professional experience, and build valuable workplace skills while attending Xavier.

The Student Employment Fair, taking place on Monday, August 17th from 2:00-4:30 in Arrupe Overlook within the Gallagher Student Center, gives you the opportunity to meet hiring supervisors from across campus, learn about available positions, and make a strong first impression before applying. Whether you're looking to use your Federal Work-Study award or simply find a flexible campus job, this event is the perfect place to get started.

Why Attend?

  • Meet supervisors from hiring departments
  • Learn about available student employment opportunities
  • Ask questions and explore positions that match your interests
  • Get a head start on securing a job for the semester
  • Build connections and expand your professional network

For Students Attending the Fair

Make the most of your time at the Student Employment Fair by coming prepared to meet potential employers and learn about available opportunities.

  • Check in at the Human Resources table when you arrive. We'll answer questions about student employment, provide event information, and share refreshments, giveaways, and raffle opportunities.
  • Bring copies of your resume. The more the better!
  • Dress professionally. First impressions matter when meeting supervisors and hiring managers.
