Recreational Sports

Student Organization Reservations

The Recreation Center is a student focused fitness facility that includes general fitness areas, three (3) group fitness studios, regulation-sized basketball courts, a 4-lane shallow lap pool, and an indoor track. The Recreation Center supports the university’s efforts to promote wellbeing by providing space, programs, and services dedicated to health and wellness.

Who can reserve a space?

Individual students or groups of students are not eligible to reserve space in the Recreation Center. All student reservations must be through a student organization supported by the Office of Student Involvement, Center for Faith and Justice, Center for Diversity and Inclusion, Department of Student Affairs, or through an approved academic class. All reservations will have a contract signed by both the leader of the student organization and the organization's advisor.

Who should I contact?

To reserve any of the Recreation Center's reservable spaces, you'll need to reach out to the Associate Director of Rec Sports, David Wiley, at wileyd@xavier.edu or (513)745-3094. Reservations are first come, first serve. Student organizations are not guaranteed space. Each of the spaces within the Recreation Center serves a purpose, and we will work with you to find a space that fits your event.

To reserve the 4th floor space or HUB rooms 102 and 103, please fill out the online reservation form:
