Dr. Rick Browne

Associate Professor, Undergraduate BSHSA Program and Graduate MHSA Program, Health Services Administration

Dr. Browne received his B.A. degree in psychology from DePauw University in Indiana. He earned his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Counseling Psychology from Indiana University. He is a licensed psychologist, and spent the first part of his career working a variety of mental health settings engaged in clinical practice and managerial roles.

Dr. Browne came to Xavier in 2010 as the Director of the Career Services Center. He moved to the Department of Health Services Administration in 2012, becoming he first Director of the Bachelor of Science in Health Services Administration Program. He has also served as Director of the MHSA Program and Department Chair. Dr. Browne does research mainly in the areas of interprofessional education and health services administration pedagogy.
