Optometry Admission Test

The Optometry Admission Test (OAT) is required for admission to schools and colleges of Optometry. Developed by the American Optometry Association, it is designed to predict general academic ability and measure the skills needed by future optometrists. An applicant's knowledge of chemistry, biology, physics, reading comprehension, and quantitative reasoning skills are tested by the OAT.
