Founded in 1831, Xavier University is a Jesuit, Catholic university in Cincinnati, Ohio. Its four colleges offer over 90 undergraduate majors, 60 minors, and 40 graduate and three doctoral programs to nearly 7,000 students. The University is the sixth oldest Catholic university in the nation, the fourth oldest Jesuit institution in the U.S., and one of 28 Jesuit colleges and universities nationwide.
Xavier has been ranked among the top 10 master's-level universities in the U.S. News and World Report's Best Midwest Universities for the past two decades. In addition to being ranked the #5 Midwest University for 2021, Xavier has been ranked 3rd in the Midwest for Veterans and 5th in the Midwest for Best Undergraduate Teaching.
