Division of Financial Administration
During this time, it is very important that we practice the promotion of social distancing and rely on the advice of health experts, thus, many Financial Administration employees will be working remotely from their homes from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm each business day until further notice. Please see our department sites for contact information.
Revised Procurement Guidance
Effective immediately, ALL requests for goods and services must be pre-approved in writing by the Procurement Department. This applies to XavierBuy, P-Card and personal card transactions for reimbursements. Due to the uncertainty surrounding the resumption of normal campus activities we request that you reduce all non-critical expenses to the maximum extent practical. This includes the procurement of goods and services for future use. If the transaction is not tied to an existing contractual agreement, we ask you to temporarily withhold purchasing any new goods and services. For any emergency situations, email firstname.lastname@example.org, and they will elevate the request to the appropriate level then let you know if the acquisition can move forward. If the request is approved, the Procurement Department will provide directions on the authorized method to complete the transaction. This directive will be updated when there is more clarity on the resumption of normal campus activities.
The mission of the Division of Financial Administration is to build and deliver strategic leadership, sustainable innovation, effective and high-quality services in finance, business, facilities and auxiliary services (ConneX), all in partnership with the Xavier community to support our pursuit of educational excellence. We hope that this site will be a valuable resource that you will visit often and that it will greatly assist you as we LEARN, SERVE AND ACHIEVE TOGETHER.
