Admission Process
Xavier offers rolling admission, meaning applications are reviewed as they are received. To get started, complete the online application by clicking the Apply Now button and selecting the Adult Student Application.
To be considered for admission, please submit:
- An official high school transcript or GED test scores
- Official transcripts from all colleges attended
- A written essay
- The Adult Admission team may also request an interview (in-person or virtual) or a recommendation from an employer or someone familiar with your academic or professional experience.
Official transcripts must be sent directly from your school(s) to Xavier University. Electronic transcripts are preferred and can be sent securely from your institution to Xavier University by email to xuadmit@xavier.edu.
Print copies can be mailed by your institution(s) to:
Xavier University
 Office of Admission
 3800 Victory Parkway
 Cincinnati, OH 45207-5131
Once your application is complete, it will be reviewed for an admission decision. If you have transfer credit, your transcripts will be sent to the Office of the Registrar for evaluation after you are admitted.
After you’re admitted, your Adult Admissions Counselor will contact you to walk through your next steps and help you get ready to meet with your academic advisor to plan your first semester.
