Healthy Selfishness – Putting Your Needs First

Programs Supporting: Exercise Science & Health Science and Wellness

Spend a week diving deep into the choices, behaviors and challenges that are required for healthy selfishness – which is being self-focused and NOT self-absorbed. Living with health, wellness & fitness in mind helps us each to find our best selves, which can help us be more effective as we conquer school, work, relationships and our next steps. We’ll utilize conversations, time in the Rec center and going outdoors to learn how to implement small changes in our daily lives that can have big outcomes in both short- and long-term health, wellness & fitness. Careers in this area all share a common thread of helping people to get/stay healthy while doing so for themselves; experience first hand how to prioritize yourself so you can put your best self out there.
