Program Directors

Sophie Roepke is the Associate Director for Leadership & Transition Programs. She provides strategic direction for new student orientation, move-in, and parent/family programs. Email Sophie for more information about orientation.

Rose Walton is the Assistant Director for New Student Programs. She provides direction for the Manresa orientation program, student coordinators, group leaders, and staff members. Email Rose for more information about orientation. 

Manresa Core

The Manresa Core are the four student leaders who create, plan and deliver the 3-day Manresa New Student Orientation Program for Xavier University.

Manresa Orientation Team Selection Timeline

  • Monday 11/24/25 - Saturday 1/31/26: OT application opens via the OneApp
  • Monday 2/2/26 - Friday 2/6/26: Interview sign-ups open
  • Friday 2/13/26 - Sunday 2/15/26: Returner applicant group interviews
  • Wednesday 2/18/26 - Sunday 2/22/26: New applicant individual interviews
  • Monday 3/2/26: OT decisions announced

  • Week of 3/22/26: OT Spring Training (times and locations TBD)
  • Week of 4/25/26: OT Spring Social (time and location TBD)
  • Friday 8/7/26 - Sunday 8/2/26: Orientation Team Move-in
  • Monday 8/10/26 - Wednesday 8/12/26: Orientation Team Training
  • Thursday 8/13/26 - Saturday 8/15/26: Manresa
