FIRST YEAR MOVE-IN:  WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 12-THURSDAY, AUGUST 13, 2026 

The First Year Move-In process takes place on Wednesday, August 12 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Thursday, August 13 from 8:00 am - 12:30 pm. During our move-in, Move Crew helps you move your belongings up to your room. Ready with carts and Xavier spirit we can't wait to help you through the move-in process!

In order to organize the move-in process, you will register for your arrival time via our Housing Self Service website. More information regarding the times of move-in and the registration process will be available soon.

You will be able to find driving directions specific to your residence hall on the Driving Directions page. It is essential that you follow the specific driving directions to your residence hall, not your GPS, which will not take you to the correct location to get in your line.

EARLY ARRIVALS

If you are participating in a Pre-Orientation Program (First Steps, Smooth, International, X-Path) or are an NCAA Athlete, you are eligible for an early arrival time.  You will receive more information directly from your program coordinator or coach. You will not need to sign up for a move-in arrival time.
