May 17 - June 25	Six-Week Summer Session I
May 18	Last day in Six-Week Session I to elect audit to credit
May 19	Last day to withdraw from Intercession
May 24	Memorial Day Holiday, University closed
May 28	Deadline to apply for August graduation
June 17	Last day for Undergraduates to withdraw from Six-Week Session I
June 18	Juneteenth Holiday - University closed
June 25	Last day for Graduate students to withdraw from Six-week Session I
June 28 - August 6	Six Week Summer Session II
June 29	Last day in Six-Week Session II to elect audit to credit
July 5	Independence Day Holiday Observed, University closed
July 6-9	Independence Day Holiday Observed, more details to come regarding class schedules
July 29	Last day for Undergraduates to withdraw from Six-Week Session II
August 6	Last day for Graduate students to withdraw from Six-week Session II
August 6	Official Summer 2027 graduation date - no ceremony*

* Xavier hosts commencement ceremonies in May of each academic year. Students who complete their degree requirements the prior August or December are eligible to participate in the May commencement ceremonies.

*Grades for full and partial term courses are due the Tuesday after the last meeting of that course.

When make-up days are needed due to Summer holidays (Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day), classes may meet on the Friday following the holiday.

The University reserves the right to change these dates as deemed necessary.
