| Sept 7 | Labor Day. No classes are in session. University is Closed. |
| Sept 11 | Deadline for students to file degree application for December graduation |
| Sept 21 | Midterm grading opens |
| Oct 1 & 2 | Fall Break. No classes except evening one day a week lecture classes. Clinicals, practicums, student teaching, and internships may be held in-person on these days. Please check your class syllabus. Offices are open. |
| Oct 12 | Deadline for faculty submission of Fall 2026 midterm grades Spring 2027 academic advising begins |
| Nov 3 | Election Day, classes meet according to their regular schedule |
| Nov 2-6 | Spring 2027 Priority Registration for all currently enrolled students |

Thanksgiving Holiday. No classes Wednesday, Nov 25 through Sunday, Nov 29. Campus offices will be closed Wednesday, Nov 25 and reopen on Monday, Nov 30. |

* Xavier hosts commencement ceremonies in May of each academic year. Students who complete their degree requirements the prior August or December are eligible to participate in the May commencement ceremonies.
** Grades for partial term courses are due the Tuesday after the last meeting of that course.
