I am a clinical health psychologist specializing in population approaches to improvement of health outcomes, including behavioral health, chronic disease, and substance use, through community, industry and academic partnerships. I have over 15 years of experience in inpatient and outpatient mental health, and youth risk behavior prevention, and 10 years of experience teaching on undergraduate and graduate levels. I specialize in development of interprofessional academic programs. Our Center’s academic offerings integrate necessary marketable skills with state-of-the-art content.  At the center, we provide immersion experiences, and opportunities in population health research and practice.  My main research interests are in behavioral health prevention. Participating personally in four health information technology start-ups, and being a member of the Xavier Innovation Center’s steering committee, I support development of disruptive approaches, and technologies through partnerships with startups and innovative thinkers.

My professional activities include:

  1. Program Development
  2. Participation in community prevention groups and regional healthcare coalitions
  3. Data analytics and informatics to promote data driven decision making in service of the community
