Undergraduate Scholarship Opportunities

Rolling Admissions Deadline, Fall and Spring semester entry.

A college education is the best investment you can make. As a Xavier student, you are not just investing in your four years of education - you are investing in a lifetime of continuous learning. You also become a life-long member of a community of learners, teachers, givers, and supporters. To make this investment possible, each admitted student is considered for a merit-based scholarship that ranges from $23,000 to $30,000 per academic year. These scholarships are renewable for all four years of undergraduate study.

Xavier’s merit-based scholarships are based on an applicant’s academic performance and holistic review of their application and materials. No separate scholarship application is required.

While Xavier offers a generous scholarship package to all admitted students, please note that this will not cover the entirety of the costs to attend. We encourage you and your family to review information early on in the college search process, including tuition and fees, I-20 requirements (if an F-1 student visa is required), and strategies for paying for college.

December 1 Deadline, Fall semester entry only.

All students who apply for admission to Xavier are considered for merit scholarships. However, there are opportunities for additional Xavier Competitive Scholarships available, based on major, involvement in community service, commitment to diversity, artistic talent and more. Students should apply by our December 1st deadline for fall semester, to be considered for these additional opportunities.

Xavier does not currently award institutional scholarships based on financial need or offer full ride scholarships.

U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, and eligible non-citizens will fill out the FAFSA (federal application for financial aid).

While students applying for F1 student or J1 exchange visa are not eligible to complete the FAFSA, we encourage exploring our payment plan options, and other resources for funding your Xavier University Education, below.

Payment plans are also available to help families manage their tuition and fee payments throughout the school year.

Graduate Scholarship Opportunities

Graduate assistantships provide the opportunity to gain professional work experience on campus, while receiving tuition remission and a modest hourly wage. Students who have been admitted to a graduate degree program at Xavier University are eligible to apply. The Office of the Graduate School oversees the posting of available assistantship positions and the application process.
