The Work Number

Xavier University has partnered with The Work Number (Equifax) to provide secure, automated employment and income verifications for current and former employees. This service assists with providing income and employment information needed for mortgages, loans, rentals, new employment, and other instances where proof of employment or income is needed.

Verifiers
Lenders and Organizations seeking to verify income and employment information for a current or former employee should contact The Work Number at 1-800-367-5690 or online at theworknumber.com. Xavier's company code is 51523. Verifiers can use this additional information for assistance with setting up or accessing their account.

For income verifications, the verifier will need the employee/former employee's social security number and, in some cases, salary key. The salary key is generated by the employee/former employee. The verifier will need to obtain both the SSN and salary key directly from the employee.

Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)
Current or former employees who need certification of their full-time employment at Xavier for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program should complete section 1 of the PSLF Employment Certification Form and submit the form to the Office of Human Resources.
