At the Williams College of Business (WCB) at Xavier University, we are invested in the education of our students. We offer academic scholarships to recognize students for their achievements, and to make higher education accessible to a diverse population. Our WCB graduate scholarships align with Xavier’s mission to provide an inclusive environment of open and free inquiry, as we prepare students for a world that is increasingly diverse, complex and interdependent. Driven by our commitment to educating the whole person, promoting the common good and serving others, the WCB community challenges and supports all our members as we cultivate lives of reflection, compassion and informed action.
Women in Business Scholarship (25% tuition discount per semester)
Women lead and manage in business, making up more than half of today’s US workforce. Yet challenges remain: as of December 2022, only 32% of S&P 500 companies’ board seats are held by women, and just 7.4% of the companies' CEOs are women.
The Women in Business Scholarship program particularly invests in women who pursue graduate business studies as they break down barriers from the classroom to the C-Suite.

Minority in Business Scholarship (25% tuition discount per semester)
The future is diverse, and the field of business requires leaders with diverse backgrounds and experiences. Our Minority in Business Scholarship (MIB) sets the stage for change by supporting diverse graduate business school candidates from underrepresented groups, including (but not limited to): racial identity, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, neurodiversity and disability status.

MBA - Ignite Scholarship (25% tuition discount per semester)
Rooted in the Jesuit tradition founded by St. Ignatius of Loyola, our students are transforming the way business is done. Students and alums from Xavier’s WCB are driving change through decision making and strategy setting. We are committed to assisting students who further the vision and mission of the college. While consideration will be given to all, the focus will be on students who:
- displayed excellence in academics,
- have work experience in the non-profit sector, demonstrating outstanding work towards a more universal good and
- demonstrate operational strength and effective stewardship.
MBA - Ignite Scholarship details
Loyal Musketeer Scholarship (25% tuition discount per semester)
The Loyal Musketeer Scholarship is available to all graduating Xavier students and alumni who wish to pursue a graduate degree at Xavier. The scholarship is equal to 25 percent off the program tuition rate for most graduate programs. All Xavier alumni who enroll in a graduate degree program at Xavier are eligible for the scholarship. The scholarship applies to graduate degree-seeking students for both part-time and full-time enrollment, with a minimum of 6 credit-hours per semester.
