Program Highlights
The summer of 2025 marked the exciting launch of the D’Artagnan Summer Business Academy, and thanks to the incredible efforts of nearly 60 team members and business partners, the inaugural session was a resounding success. Designed for high school students interested in exploring the world of business, the program combined academic rigor with real-world experiences, offering courses like Economics, and Marketing, taught by Xavier faculty.
With company visits to top firms like P&G, Red Cedar, Alloy, 84.51°, and FC Cincinnati, alongside dynamic social events and a campus experience that left students inspired, the program earned high praise across the board — 96% of students left more interested in business, and interest in attending Xavier more than doubled. The enthusiasm, learning, and community that defined this first year set a strong foundation for the future of the program.
Sample Schedule:
In 2026, students took part in 7 mock business classes, visited 5 companies, and explored Cincinnati through 3 social outings. Each year follows a similar format: instruction in the morning, company visits in the afternoon, and social activities in the evening.
Take a look at the 2026 schedule below for a snapshot of what the experience looks like!
Program Statistics and Feedback:
After each Academy, we ask students what they expected and what they actually experienced. The results speak for themselves: a 4.33/5 average rating, 89% of students leaving more interested in studying business, and honest testimonials in students’ own words about what made the week memorable.
