Student Involvement offers students the opportunity to participate in informal and formal leadership programs.  Our informal programs include drop-in workshops and skill development opportunities for involved students.  Our formal leadership programs include a leadership retreat and multiple cohort based leadership series for students seeking a deeper engagement with leadership development.

EMERGING LEADERS RETREAT

The Emerging Leaders Retreat (ELR) is a two-day retreat designed for first- and second-year students to recognize, develop, and strengthen their leadership skills, regardless of their involvement status.

NEW HEIGHTS

New Heights is a 4-week leadership program designed for first-year students to develop essential skills and explore how they can begin to translate leadership into action at Xavier. In the spirit of striving for new heights, the program culminates with a beginner-friendly high ropes or indoor rock-climbing experience off-campus

IGNATIAN LEADERS PROGRAM

The Ignatian Leadership Program (ILP) is an initiative for second semester sophomores. The program focuses on developing leaders who embody the Jesuit traditions of service, justice, reflection, and discernment while promoting community building, the development of professional presence, and self-awareness.

ARRUPE LEADERS

Arrupe Leaders is a program for highly involved seniors.  It is an opportunity for a cohort of graduating students to engage in the process of vocational discernment while reflecting on their co-curricular involvement and leadership journey.

LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Student Involvement facilitates opportunities for students to apply for campus leadership positions. Our leadership positions include paid student employment opportunities via Involvement Internships and well as multiple student leadership positions available via the OneApp.
