Social Work majors may be considered for one or both of the below awards. Additional information and a list of recipients may be found through their links.

In 1989, the Charlotte Towle Social Work Award was instituted by the department of social work. It is presented annually at the Honors Assembly to the senior(s) in social work who has demonstrated high academic achievement and professional ethics.

Majors who become members of the National Association of Social Workers are eligible to be nominated by the department for the Cincinnati Regional BSW Student of the Year awarded annually by Cincinnati Region 6 of the Ohio Chapter of the NASW.
