In the table below regarding the Fall 2023 semester, the left column displays semester dates, and the right column displays events occurring on those dates.
Date	Event
August 16-17	First Year Move In Days. Students will select a specific check in appointment time.
August 18-20	Upperclass Move In Days. Students will select a specific check in appointment time.
August 21	Classes begin.
September 4	Labor Day, no classes, residential facilities remain open.
October 5-6	Fall Break, no classes, residential facilities remain open.
November 22-26	Thanksgiving holiday, no classes, residential facilities remain open.
December 11-15	Final Exams
Friday, December 15	Residential facilities close at 5 PM for winter break.

Date	Event
January 6-7	Residential facilities reopen at 10 AM on Saturday. Students will select a specific return appointment time.
January 8	Courses begin.
January 15	Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, University closed. Residential facilities remain open.
March 2-9	Spring Break, residential facilities remain open. Hoff dining closed.
March 28-April 1	Easter holiday, residential facilities remain open. Offices are closed. Hoff dining closed.
April 28-May 3	Finals week.
Friday, May 3 at 5 PM	Residential facilities close, except for graduating seniors. Students should move out within 24 hours of their last final or by no later than 5 PM on Friday, May 3.
Sunday, May 12 at 10 AM	Residential facilities close for graduating seniors and Commencement participants.
