Tuition Insurance

Xavier University has partnered with GradGuard Tuition Insurance to enhance our existing refund policy and provide families with greater peace of mind. This optional insurance helps protect students and parents from financial loss due to an unexpected withdrawal for a serious covered illness, injury, or other qualifying reason.

GradGuard can reimburse up to 100% of the student’s tuition and school-invoiced fees after a withdrawal for a covered reason, which may include:

  • Serious injury or illness
  • Chronic illnesses (e.g., diabetes or autoimmune disorders)
  • Mental health conditions, such as depression and anxiety

Covered withdrawals can take place any time during the covered term. Please note:

  • Tuition insurance must be purchased before the first day of classes.
  • Enrollment is voluntary but strongly recommended.
  • Xavier University does not receive compensation for participation in this program.

For more information or to enroll, contact GradGuard at 877-794-6603 or visit www.gradguard.com/tuition.
