Cost of Attendance
The cost of attendance is an annual estimate of educational expenses you will incur while attending Xavier University. The estimate is made up of two types of costs: direct and indirect.
- Direct costs* are items that will appear on your university bills, such as, tuition, fees, and on-campus housing and food.
- Indirect costs will not appear on your bill but are estimated costs associated with going to college and should be included in your budget. These costs include items like transportation, personal expenses, and off-campus housing and food.
The estimated costs are based on full-time enrollment during the fall and spring semesters (with the exception of ABSN).
Specific course, lab, and testing fees will be assessed each semester based on course enrollment.
Students who borrow federal loans will have the average loan fee amount added to their cost of attendance. An additional loan fee will be added when a PLUS loan is borrowed by a parent or graduate student.

This estimate is based on enrollment of at least half-time during the fall and spring semesters. For most graduate programs, half-time enrollment is defined as 4.5 or more credit hours per semester.
