Lauren Martin

Teaching Professor

Dr. Lauren Martin is a Teaching Professor at Xavier University in the School of Education, specializing in play-based learning, project based learning, arts integration and early childhood education. She recently completed her Ed.D. from Miami University in Educational Leadership. Her dissertation focused on the role of joy in urban HeadStart preschool classrooms. She is the co-author of the book Project Based and Inquiry Learning: Nurturing Curiosity, which explores teaching and learning through authentic teaching methods and serves as a guide for educators interested in cultivating more inquiry-based classrooms.
