Clinical Mental Health Counseling

The Clinical Mental Health Counseling Master of Arts degree program is accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP). The degree program is designed to meet the educational requirements for licensure as a professional clinical counselor.

Students who successfully complete this degree may also apply for licensure as a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor upon meeting additional criteria set by the Ohio Credentialing Board. Students interested in the Chemical Dependency Counselor license should contact the department chair for details.
