Faculty & Staff Processional RSVP

Xavier will hold commencement ceremonies on May 11, 2024 in the Cintas Center. The undergraduate ceremony begins at 9:00 a.m. The graduate ceremony begins at 2:30 p.m.

In order to plan for these events, and provide enough seats, it is very important that we know how many faculty and staff will be in attendance. Please complete the response form at the bottom by Friday, April 26, 2024.

Commencement provides the opportunity for the Xavier community to gather and celebrate the academic successes of our graduates. You are strongly encouraged to attend both events. For those who attend both ceremonies, lunch will be provided on the conference level of the Cintas Center. 

DIRECTIONS FOR ASSEMBLY - UNDERGRADUATE CEREMONY

Faculty and staff who plan to robe and participate in the procession will assemble in the Auxiliary Gym in the Cintas Center by 8:15 a.m. Please use the entrance to the west side of the building (Kohlhepp Family Auxiliary Gym). Coffee service will be available.

DIRECTIONS FOR ASSEMBLY - GRADUATE CEREMONY

Faculty and staff who plan to robe and participate in the procession will assemble in the Auxiliary Gym in the Cintas Center by 1:45 p.m. Please use the entrance to the west side of the building (Kohlhepp Family Auxiliary Gym). 

Faculty who participate in both ceremonies are welcome to attend the volunteer and event staff lunch.  The lunches will be available on the Concourse Level of Cintas between the ceremonies.

COMMENCEMENT INSTRUCTIONS

After the closing remarks, we ask that faculty and staff who are participating in the recessional form a walkway in the center aisle for the students to process through. You are responsible for bringing your own academic apparel. For your convenience, a staff member will be in the robing room for the duration of each ceremony for those in the procession who may need to leave items there.

BACCALAUREATE MASS DIRECTIONS

Please plan on being at Cintas by 4:45 pm on Friday, May 10.  There is reserved seating for faculty and staff who  RSVP in advance of the Mass.
