Congratulations, Class of 2024!

Congratulations to all Xavier graduates! We welcome you as graduates of a long and rich tradition of Jesuit education. Xavier University's in-person commencement ceremonies and celebration details, taking place on campus in Cincinnati, Ohio, are linked below.

Commencement Ceremonies

Xavier's commencement ceremonies take place in May. Both ceremonies are held in the Cintas Center.

Commencement Week

Don't miss out on Commencement Week, happening from May 12-17, 2025! This week-long celebration of graduating students includes opportunities to honor each others' accomplishments and time at Xavier.

Baccalaureate Mass

The Baccalaureate Mass is a time for the Xavier community to gather in thanksgiving and celebrate the accomplishments of the Class of 2025. We reflect on years of learning and growth to send the soon-to-be graduates into the world imbued with the fire of the Spirit.

Students and guests all arrive at the same time and sit together; seats are on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Baccalaureate Mass takes place on Friday, May 16, 2025 in the Cintas Center.

Grad Fair

Grad Fair is your one-stop event to take care of all of your graduation needs. More information coming soon!

Grad Fair is Tuesday, February 25, 2025 from 12pm - 7pm in the Cintas Center.

Commencement Checklist

In order to participate in Commencement, students have several tasks to complete. If you have not already done so, be sure to review your progress towards your degree in Degree Works and meet with your academic advisor.

  1. Apply for Graduation - deadline is January 24, 2025. Applications submitted after the deadline incur a $50 late fee.
  2. Order Your Cap and Gown
  3. Order Class Ring / Announcements
  4. Check Your Bursar Account - go to "Pay Bill" on the Student HUB to see if you have a balance on your account. You will not receive your diploma if you have an outstanding balance.
  5. Update Your Contact Information for post-graduation. Your Xavier email account will be deactivated 1 year after graduation.  Be sure to unlink any accounts that are tied to your email.
