Collaborative Classroom Learning

  • Active Learning: Master complex medical concepts through small-group sessions, problem-based learning (PBL), and team-based learning (TBL).
  • Interprofessional Education: Train alongside Xavier Nursing students, mirroring the collaborative healthcare teams you will lead in the future.

Hands-On Clinical Mastery

  • Anatomy Cadaver Lab: Gain a profound understanding of human architecture through traditional dissection, the gold standard of medical education.
  • 50-Table OMM Lab: Master Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine in a massive, dedicated space designed for simultaneous instruction and practice of manual healing techniques.
  • Early Patient Exposure: Transition from theory to practice quickly with early clinical skills instruction and frequent interactions with patients from the very start.

Advanced Simulation

  • Advanced Simulation: Refine your diagnostic skills using standardized patients, high-tech manikin simulators, and Virtual Reality (VR) modules.
  • The Teaching Kitchen: Explore the vital link between diet and disease. Participate in medical nutrition experiences that prepare you to prescribe lifestyle changes as effectively as medicine.

Board Prep

We are committed to your success on the national stage. Unlike programs that require you to balance heavy coursework with board study, we provide a dedicated 4-week COMLEX-USA Level 1 preparation block. This focused period ensures you have the time, resources, and faculty support to excel on your first major licensing exam.
