Hoff Dining Commons - 2023 NACUFS Award Press Release

Fall 2024 meal plan selections will be open for purchase by June 24, 2024.  Spring 2024 meal plan upgrades can be done online.  Go to the dining site under meal plan purchase.  Please call 513-745-2935 if you are needing assistance.  Please leave a full message on the voice mail or call the main office line at 513-745-4281.  You may also email 

REMINDERS: The downgrade or cancellation of a meal plan must happen by the first Friday of each Semester (August 23rd, 2024 for Fall and January 17th, 2025 for Spring).   Meal plans can be added or upgraded at anytime.  To Upgrade, when you have a few meals left, go to self service and change your meal plan - you pay the difference between plans and no additional dining dollars are added.  To add an additional block meal plan including dining dollars or if you have a 105 block and need more swipes, please contact us to assist. 



  • Fall Meal Plan Selections open June 24th, 2024.  Only those students in on-campus apartments or off-campus commuter students will need to go to self-service and select a meal plan.  Changes can be made through August 23rd and only additions can happen after that date.

To get the most out of your Xavier experience and encourage wellness, students living in Buenger, Brockman, Husman, Justice, and Kuhlman will be assigned the Xavier Musketeer Unlimited Meal Plan.

For on-campus apartment and commuter students, meal plans are optional and strongly recommended. These students may choose from all meal plans available. Approximately 73% of the student body enjoys a meal plan to satisfy their dining needs!  Commuter Plans - 25 - 40 - 80 or 105 Blocks - The Musketeer Unlimited can be chosen too.

Terms and Conditions:

  • The Meal plan you select is in effect for both the Fall and Spring Semesters. For your convenience, this is an auto-renewal pass for both semesters of one academic year. Changes for each semester are available to be made through the first Friday of the semester by 5:00 pm; after which time only meal plan upgrade or new purchases are permitted.
  • Upgrades to meal plans are allowed at any time during the assigned semester through the student self-service portal or by contacting Xavier Auxiliary Services. Meal plans purchased or upgraded after the first week of classes will be sold at a prorated price, if applicable. The student's Bursar account will be adjusted to reflect the new meal plan price.
  • The refund schedule follows the University Institutional Policy published on the Xavier University Bursar's website. Please refer to this policy at
  • Your meal plan selection is billed to your student account through the Bursar's Office.
  • Unused Dining Dollars will carry over from the Fall Semester to the Spring Semester. However, any remaining Dining Dollars at the end of the Spring Semester are non-refundable.
  • Unused meal plan swipes must be used within their respective semester. The unused meal swipes will not carry over from one semester to the next.
