There Is More Than One Way to Give.
Supporting Xavier Art does not always mean writing a check. Sometimes the most valuable thing you can give is an hour with a student, an introduction to someone in your professional network, feedback on a portfolio, attendance at an exhibition, an internship opportunity, or simply showing up to encourage a young artist.
We think about support in three ways: Time, Talent, and Treasure. Each helps us create the experiences, relationships, resources, and opportunities that allow our students to grow.

March Gladness Art Auction
The March Gladness Art Auction is one of the easiest and most enjoyable ways to support Xavier Art. It is intentionally informal, welcoming, and fun: come spend time with students, faculty, alumni, and friends of the department while bidding on original artwork.

Buy Art. Support Students.
Start or Grow Your Art Collection.You do not need to be an experienced collector or spend thousands of dollars to own original art. The auction offers an approachable and inexpensive way to discover student work, take something home, and directly support the Department of Art. Proceeds help strengthen Art Department equipment, programming, and student experiences. |

Xavier Art Advisory Board
Our Art Advisory Board brings together alumni, artists, designers, educators, collectors, business professionals, community leaders, and advocates who want to help strengthen the future of Xavier Art.
Board members serve as connectors and catalysts: helping students access mentors, internships, professional experiences, studios, organizations, and networks while also helping the department build partnerships and resources for future growth.

Advisory Board support may include mentoring, professional introductions, career opportunities, guest speakers, company visits, scholarships, fundraising, advocacy, and participation in department events.
Night of Poetic Enchantment

The Night of Poetic Enchantment is an immersive celebration of art, music, literature, science, performance, and curiosity that brings students and faculty from across Xavier together to create something none of them could make alone. Student teams develop installations, performances, experiments, environments, films, writing, music, and other unexpected experiences leading up to the event. Rather than simply attending the Night, students help create it. Support helps provide the materials, equipment, and creative resources that allow ambitious student ideas to move from “What if?” to something real. |
Help Make Room for Wonder
Support a Student Idea.Gifts can support materials, equipment, technology, fabrication, performances, installations, and small creative grants for student-led interdisciplinary projects. |
Help Good Ideas Become Real Experiences.
Financial gifts can be large or small. What matters is what they make possible. Donor support can help students participate in professional opportunities, bring artists and designers to campus, strengthen the Artist in Residency Program, purchase equipment, support exhibitions, compensate student creative work, and fund experiences beyond the classroom.
