Where Xavier Art Leads

Creative Lives Take Many Forms.

There is no single path after an art or design degree. Our graduates build careers as artists, designers, educators, creative strategists, fabricators, photographers, arts professionals, entrepreneurs, and more. Some continue into graduate study while others move directly into professional creative work.

What connects them is the ability to develop ideas, make things, communicate visually, solve problems, adapt to new tools, collaborate with others, and continue growing long after graduation.

3D Animation & Immersive Game Design

The First Alumni Stories Are Still Being Written.

Our 3D Animation & Immersive Game Design program is new, which means its first generation of graduates has not yet entered the professional world.

Students are preparing for paths in 3D art, animation, game design, environment and character art, technical art, immersive media, visualization, VR/AR, simulation, VFX, and other emerging creative technologies. As our first graduates begin those careers, their stories will become part of this page.

Beyond the First Job

A Creative Degree Can Lead in Many Directions.

Creative careers rarely follow a perfectly straight line. Our alumni combine skills, move between disciplines, continue learning new technologies, build independent practices, pursue graduate education, teach, lead teams, start businesses, and discover careers they may not have known existed when they first entered college.

Stay Connected

Alumni Are Part of the Education.

Graduation does not have to end a relationship with Xavier Art. Alumni return as mentors, speakers, portfolio reviewers, employers, collaborators, donors, exhibition visitors, and professional connections for current students.

A conversation with someone who was once sitting in the same studio can help a student see what comes next more clearly. We want those connections to continue growing across generations of Xavier artists and designers.
