Race, Class, and the Blue Collar-Stories in Clay by Kelly and Kyle Phelps

Xavier University and the Department of Art are pleased to announce an exhibition of ceramic sculptures by Professor Kelly Phelps and his brother Kyle Phelps, Professor at the University of Dayton. This exhibition is presented in conjunction with the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts (NCECA) Conference to be held in Cincinnati, March 15-18, 2023.  RACE, CLASS, AND THE BLUE COLLAR – STORIES IN CLAY will open from March 13 through March 18, 2023.*

NCECA’s Collectors tour will visit RACE, CLASS, AND THE BLUE COLLAR – STORIES IN CLAY displayed in the Xavier University Art Galleries on Wednesday, March 15, 2:50-3:30 p.m. 

An artists’ reception will be on Thursday, March 16, 5:00-9:00 p.m. Please join us to meet the artists and enjoy complimentary refreshments.
