Xavier University and the Department of Art are pleased to present the sculpture exhibition Turn & Alter by Jan & Mark Wiesner beginning Friday, January 20th.
Turn & Alter is an exhibition of relief and free-standing sculptural forms. Grounded in the natural world, the work involves change, brought about by a process of modification, adjustment and alteration. The work is additive and seeks new connections, using small manipulations of what is seen. Much of it is rooted in a narrative. Shadow, light and texture inhabit their stories.
