Arrupe Leaders

The Arrupe Leaders are named in honor of Fr. Pedro Arrupe and his prayer that inspires us to "fall in love." Arrupe writes,

What you are love with, what seizes your imagination, will affect everything. It will decide what will get you out of bed in the morning, what you do with your evenings, how you spend your weekends.

The Arrupe Leaders program takes this idea of "falling in love" and seeks to help students understand the idea of vocation; the combination of values/interests, skills, and world need. The outstanding graduating seniors invited to be Arrupe Leaders have shown us what it means to fall in love through their consistently high-engagement with the campus community so this program aims to give them the opportunity to understand how that can impact their lives beyond Xavier.

The program is centered on the three themes to vocation and includes a culminating legacy speech, with many uploaded below. This year's cohort included the following individuals:
