What is Xavier Element?
Xavier University's student-led, student-run digital marketing agency and student consultancy providing services to clients. Our team is comprised of 30+ student consultants who solve business challenges with a unique Gen-Z perspective, hired and trained to provide expertise in digital marketing, analytics, and creative design.

The Elementals - Student Consultant Community
Clients are matched and work directly with 1 or more student consultants with relevant skills to deliver client's needs, oriented around the academic focuses and passions of our Xavier Element consultants.
Student consultants communicate with clients directly to hold regular in-person and virtual meetings. Streamlined communication helps ensure ongoing alignment and delivery of contracts and scopes of work. Our executive director and faculty have deep-rooted professional experience in marketing, management, entrepreneurship, analytics, and creative design.
Qualifications
Each student consultant is hand-selected for the program by our team of student leaders, faculty advisors, and the executive director. Trained and certified in a breadth of digital marketing services and media creation platforms, our student consultants are ready to assist with every aspect of digital marketing.
Leadership Team
Sarah Logan
President
Sarah Logan is a driven marketing leader with a passion for strategic communication, relationship-building, and meaningful impact. From the moment she arrived at Xavier University, she was determined to immerse herself in opportunities that would challenge her, grow her skill set, and allow her to lead.
A Marketing major with minors in Health Service Administration and Political Economy, Sarah believes that strong communication is the foundation of effective leadership. Her ambition and initiative were evident early on—by the end of her first year, she had secured two internships and stepped into multiple leadership roles, embracing challenges that pushed her to grow both professionally and personally.
Within Xavier Element, Sarah has progressed from Marketing Consultant to Internal Marketing Lead and now serves as President. In her current role, she oversees the agency’s overall strategy and performance, ensuring every client receives thoughtful, high-quality work while cultivating a team culture where consultants are supported, challenged, and empowered to thrive.
Beyond the agency, Sarah serves as the Marketing and Communications Intern for Bellarmine Parish and as Community Engagement Manager for the American Marketing Association. Outside of her professional work, Sarah enjoys exploring local coffee shops, hosting game nights with friends, and going for long runs.

Matthew David
Marketing Lead
Matthew David is a Marketing major with minors in Political Economy and Business Analytics and a proud member of the Smith Scholars program, graduating in 2027. Since September 2024, he has been with Xavier Element, where he has worked across multiple clients and helped lay the foundation for analytics and strategic insights. Now serving as Marketing Lead, he manages the marketing consultants and their needs while supporting new business development and driving strategic growth across accounts.
On campus, Matthew is a member of Delta Sigma Pi and serves as Marketing Director for the American Marketing Association at Xavier. Last summer, he studied abroad in the Netherlands, broadening his global perspective and deepening his academic experience. Outside of class and work, he enjoys collecting vinyl records, thrifting, and spending time with friends and family.

Mary Jung
Creative Lead
Mary Jung joined the Element team in January of 2025 as a Creative Consultant. Originally from Atlanta, GA, she is majoring in Marketing with a minor in Graphic Design. Since joining the team, she has worked on over three clients, creating graphics, videos, and branding materials that help companies tell their stories in meaningful and creative ways. Mary has a strong passion for art and branding, and she loves using her creativity to bring ideas to life and help brands stand out.
What she loves most about being part of Xavier Element is the opportunity to collaborate with driven, talented individuals who genuinely care about their work and each other. The environment is inspiring, fast-paced, and filled with creativity, making it an exciting place for students to grow both professionally and personally. Whenever she’s not working on Element projects, you can find Mary practicing with the Xavier Dance Team or giving campus tours as a university tour guide. She also enjoys spending time creating new designs, exploring creative trends, and staying involved around campus.

Ashley Haste
Strategist
Ashley Haste is a marketing and management student at Xavier University, originally from Louisville, Kentucky. She has a strong interest in social media strategy, branding, and consumer insights, which she has developed through internships in Louisville and through her work with Xavier University’s Marketing Department. These experiences have allowed her to build a well-rounded foundation in strategic communication, audience engagement, and brand development.
Since August 2025, Ashley has served as a Strategist Lead at Element, where she plays a key role in maintaining strong client relationships and guiding internal teams to deliver high-quality, results-driven work. She helps ensure projects remain aligned with client goals, manages client budgets, and supports strategic planning efforts to not only meet expectations but consistently exceed them. Ashley values Element’s commitment to professional growth, appreciating the opportunities the organization provides for students to expand their skill sets through hands-on experience and dedicated training in new focus areas. She credits the team’s collaborative and supportive culture as a defining part of her experience.
In addition to her work at Element, Ashley teaches at Xavier University’s St. Peter Faber Academy, an elementary school, where she brings energy and leadership into the classroom. Outside of her professional and academic commitments, she enjoys hiking, staying active at the gym, and exploring Cincinnati.

Joslyn Mays
Strategist
Joslyn is a second-year Marketing major with a minor in French from Cincinnati, Ohio. She began her journey with Element as a Marketing Consultant, where she spent six months collaborating directly with clients and gaining hands-on experience in strategy and creative problem-solving. She now serves on Element’s leadership team as a Strategist, leading marketing and creative consultants to help clients tackle business challenges and develop impactful solutions.
On campus, she is involved in the Women in Business Club and Pickleball Club. Joslyn also enjoys spending time with her roommates and friends on campus, especially their weekly “Family Dinners” to spend quality time catching up! At home, she enjoys riding ATV’s with her dad and loves family time, especially with her two adorable nieces and Tea Cup Yorkie named, “Matcha”. Joslyn has lots of passion for all things fashion, interior design, coffee, and travel, and loves to collect espresso glasses from every country and city she has been to!

Caroline Meyer
Strategist
Caroline is a sophomore Marketing major with a minor in Digital Media from Nashville, Tennessee. She began working for Element as a Marketing Consultant in February 2025 where she has mostly worked managing social media accounts for Sweet Buckets, a premium popcorn company based out of Northern Kentucky and has recently transitioned to a Strategist Lead role. Along with her work at Element, Caroline is a member of the Xavier A caBellas, an ambassador for the Center for Women in Business and Leadership, and helps out with the 4pm student mass. Outside of school she enjoys reading, being active, dancing, singing, traveling, and spending quality time with friends and family!
